I like the way Wim Wenders tell a story.
Starting from a road trip--Germany to Portugal--only with nonstop-changing scenes and radio sounds. A soundman who receieved a help-asking-postcard from his film-maker friend went on a incredible journey since then.
One part I like most is that the film-maker disappeared for a long time, so the soundman decided to work, making the sound for the film, by himself. It's interesting that two parts--sounds and images--made by different people with different interpretations. Besides, the sounds in the movie are amazing that u can hear the wind, flying-birds, playing-kids, cooking-housewife, train, sea and so on. Even if u close your eyes, u can imagine the scenes there.
It is a journey dicovering love and self. As we know, everyone could ever face the situation of lost. Like the film-maker, the images are not influential to him so he wanted to abandon all what he had done. However, the showing-up of the soundman actually inspired him a lot. The conversation between these two man(actually not directly), maybe is the core that Wim Wenders wanna tell in my point of view.
It's a shame that I can express my whole feeling abt the film in En, but it could be good to save something for u if u'll go finding out the film to watch.
